Our highly trained dedicated professionals operate out of two fire stations that are strategically located in the City of Rockingham.

An ISO Class 2 rating signifies that the Rockingham Fire Department meets stringent standards for fire protection services, emphasizing our commitment to safeguarding the community. Our Training Facility

At Rockingham Fire Department, our training facility is essential for improving the skills of our firefighters in various critical areas. These areas include:

Rockingham Fire District

The Rockingham Fire Department district covers an area of approximately 10.5 square miles. This district not only includes the city limits but also extends into surrounding county service districts, reaching neighborhoods along County Home Road and Wiregrass Road. Additionally, it covers areas that have been annexed into the city limits, such as Enterprise Drive and the former Sara Lee Mill located on Mill Road. Within the city limits, Rockingham is home of the Hitchcock Creek Blue Trail. Along with another attraction Hinson Lake, which is situated just off East Washington Street Extension, with an additional entrance on Crow Run.
